APEX VETS OPEN DAY
The Shed had a stall at the Apex Vets Open Day in August. This is an event in aid of Strathcarron Hospice and some other charities. We had our usual presentation and sold some items which will aid our funds by about £80 once some follow up items are paid. In return we made a contribution to the Apex Charity Fund. Thanks to George McArthur for identifying this event and all the members who helped on the day.
With every event we are learning more about how we should tailor our presentation. Photo above shows our stall in full flow.

OPEN DAYS AT SHED
The Shed held their first open days covering a Friday and Saturday. We enjoyed visits from members of the public, local businesses, suppliers, local Councillors and even our MSP and MP. Examples of things made in the Shed were on display and lively demonstrations of the latest electric bikes accompanied the visit. A tremendous spread of home baking was a hit. It proving difficult to get people out of the Bothy once inside (same as the Shed Members).

BONNYBRIDGE GALA
A big thank you to the Shed Members for their contribution to our stall at Bonnybridge Gala Day. We had a good day displaying goods that the Members make, advising on services we can offer, speaking to people and handing out leaflets. We made more than £100 in sales, with more to come in from orders taken, so expenses are covered with something for the Shed pot. Photo above was taken just after our stall was set-up and waiting for the Gala to start.
